March? How can it be March already I hear you ask. Well, I’m asking the same thing!

March means sort of end of summer here in the Southern Hemisphere, sort of. However, it's a cloudless 32°C/90°F outside my window today. This time of year, with the brutal sun ebbing a little, makes me smile 😊 We’re still getting a few orders from lucky souls living in sunshine-all-year-round places in Australia such as Bryon Bay and Nhulunbuy in the Northern Territory, but traditionally this is one of the quietest periods of the year for Three Sun Possums. Too early for Northern Hemisphere folk to be thinking seriously about skin protection, but Southern Hemisphere dwellers are now all set until next Spring. Which means it’s a great time for business planning. Yeah! I love planning. I almost like planning more than I like doing. Am I the only one?!

One of the things that’s been occupying me this morning is how to reach more sun conscious Possums this Spring in the US, particularly California and Florida, where the culture of ‘sunsmart’ is gaining ground. When families finally discover Three Sun Possums I get lovely emails saying how glad they are to find us, but I want to make it easier for more of them to find us, quicker, in the first place. Any ideas? I’ve tried various things in the past but nothing seems particularly worthwhile. If you have any insight into the US online market, or know someone who does – please let me know! In the meantime I’ll continue my investigations here.
